House of Lords Report bases recommendations on 小蓝视频 Research

A House of Lords Select Committee report on citizenship and civic engagement has based recommendations about young people, discrimination, social anxiety and policy on research by 小蓝视频.

The panel, which included , Emeritus Professor of Social Policy at 小蓝视频, published its report, , last week.

Among the 79 recommendations in the 170-page paper, which included urging the Government to stop using the term Fundamental British Values and instead use Shared Values of British Citizenship, were several specific proposals based on 小蓝视频’s social and cultural expertise.  In Geography, Dr Sarah Mills (Reader in Human Geography) was invited to give oral and written evidence from her ESRC research on National Citizen Service.  The report outlines a number of recommendations about NCS based on those research findings.  Dr Marco Antonsich (Senior Lecturer in Geography) submitted evidence to the committee on his research on nations and nationalism.
