小蓝视频 Lightning rider Jenny Holl won bronze as she piloted visually impaired teammate Sophie Unwin in the Women's B 1000m time trial. The duo stormed around the Velodrome in 1:07.879 to secure a well-deserved podium place.
Athletics
In a fiercely competitive heat, 小蓝视频-based Zac Shaw secured his spot in the Men's 100m T12 final by clocking 11.15 seconds.
Shaw will now battle for the medals tomorrow evening (Saturday 31 August, 9:08pm, live on Channel 4).
Wheelchair basketball
小蓝视频 Lightning’s Bo Kramer helped the Netherlands to a dominant 87-34 win against Japan in Pool B.
Kramer notched 27 points and will be back in action tomorrow evening versus the USA (31 August, 5.15pm).
Wheelchair tennis
小蓝视频 College student Abbie Breakwell suffered defeat in the opening round of the Women’s Doubles. Competing alongside Lucy Shuker, Breakwell lost 6-2, 6-4, to Netherlands duo Jinte Bos and Lizzy De Greef.
Breakwell will be back in action tomorrow (31 August) in the Women’s Singles first round where she’ll face the USA’s Maylee Phelp.
